Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a gentle form of bodywork rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Shiatsu stimulates your body's vital energy by using gentle pressure, holding, stretches and limb rotations. Some massage movements may also be used. The treatment allows the energy to flow freely again - thereby relieving tension and pain.

A Shiatsu session usually takes about one hour. The first session may take slightly longer as I spend time to find out more about your health and lifestyle in order to develop a complete picture of you.
The treatment takes place fully-clothed on a futon at floor level. I recommend you to wear comfortable loose clothes.
Following the treatment, I talk with you about the session and see what you could do in your life to support the effects of the treatment. Recommendations that I give you might be specific exercises, meridian-stretches or suggestions of changes in your life-style that you can implement in your daily life.
